2003 saw a great development in IDMC’s career, when they were invited to be the guest artists at Luciano Pavarotti’s wedding.

The group is an 18-piece gospel outfit of young energetic people, from the West Indian, African and British heritage, who live, work and study within the inner city.

Originally formed in 1996, the VMC has since forged a reputation for creating its own unique brand of gospel music that has done much to increase the growing popularity towards the British Gospel sound.

The Visual Ministry Choir has a wide working knowledge and experience in the field of gospel singing, and backing vocals for major artists like: Mariah Carey, Gloria Estafan and Westlife. Their TV appearances include: The Jonathan Ross Show, Songs Of Praise and many others, live shows, corporate entertainment and parties, themed nights, product launches, company parties/dinners, major department stores, weddings, Christmas entertainment and the list goes on. This list includes: Cadbury's, Coca Cola and Saatchi & Saatchi (top advertising company), Selfridges, Harrods, as well as performing at the wedding of top TV Sports Presenter Gabby Yorath and Rugby hero Kenny Logan. VMC have also performed twice in front of The Queen, and appeared on ‘Perfect Day’, a song that sold over 1.7 Million copies in aid of the charity Children In Need.

London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC)

Established since 1982, LCGC have nurtured more than 200 members from all areas of London and its suburbs. Trying to fit LCGC into a neat slot is virtually impossible. They are adaptable, small or large group. LCGC is known for their up-tempo gospel flair, swing-beat, R’n’B, traditional and soulful arrangements, with their invigorating choreography and vocal gymnastics - LCGC is outstanding to watch!
LCGC have sung on the soundtrack for Walt Disney’s “The Lion King”, performed for Nelson Mandela during his famous visit to London, officiated at “Mel B’s (Spice Girls)” wedding, represented the British Council at international festivals in Zambia and Zimbabwe, opened at main stage Glastonbury and put gospel for the first time on the BBC Proms map.

LCGC’s TV appearances have included: Channel 4 Christmas Specials, Des O’Connor, GMTV, Top Of The Pops, This Morning, TFI Friday, Jools Holland, Barrymore, as well as several Royal Variety Shows and Royal Performances - the list is endless!
